61 multi-storey commercial units in two separately accessed buildings – around 10,000 m² of usable floor area in sustainable timber construction.
The modular commercial concept and the GreenPlaces brand belong to GreenPlaces. As part of the delivery, MTM was responsible for timber engineering, structural optimisation, production and installation as well as technical construction development.
The site was built from February 2024 to April 2025. Both buildings are connected to the regional district-heating network and carry an extensive photovoltaic installation.
With 61 units, Münsingen is the largest GreenPlaces project delivered by MTM and demonstrates the scalability of combining engineering, prefabrication and installation.
